Voodoo Child v. 16: it doesn't have to be eternal to be immortal.

So I'm nearing the end of my short vacation. I have done a few things that needed to be done: dry cleaning, buy stamps, visit Ikea, do literally nothing, and update web pages. The usual shiz. I skipped doing a few other things that I really wanted to do: mail out wedding pics (okay, almost two years later) and get out of town for a few hours.

 I have to admit that it's probably been a great time for me to get out of the office and see what the rest of the world was doing. I think going away for vacation is horribly overrated, but I definitely would have leapt at the chance. Oh well. I'm doing the same thing again in a few weeks, so that's life for ya kids.

I'm still not digging the new website just yet because I want to dress 'er up a little more, but that'll change in a little bit. I just have to get used to it, I keep reminding myself. So I updated other sites because I'm trying to figure out how to edit this one; check out the new digs:

Which one of you kids are watching the World Cup? Is this mess insane or what? There's some LOVE for teams world wide, isn't there? I'm personally rooting for the following teams: USA (Default, I kinda have to), France, Italy, and HELLS YAH, Togo. You heard me right. Togo. Come on, half of you don't know where Togo is, don't you. Togo is on the continent of Africa. A long shot to win it all, but that's why you should root for them. Shoot, if Trinidad and Tobago can hold Sweden to a nil-nil final score, why the hell not Togo.

So go for the underdog, kids. I'll be back for the update on my new obsession...and guess what's around the corner, TOUR DE FRANCE! Yet another reason for me to watch television endlessly. I'm off for a out of town jaunt and will return in a bit. Then back to the salt mines.
